FAQs
I don’t know where to start with my wedding planning! What is the best place to begin?
The best way to kick off your wedding planning journey is to arrange a consultation with me. We can discuss your ideas, answer any questions you have, and figure out which of my services will suit your needs best. This helps me understand your vision and start planning how to bring it to life. You can easily book a meeting with me using the calendar booking system on the contact page.
My venue has its own coordinator, but I’d prefer you to coordinate my wedding. What should I do?
This is usually no problem at all. Simply let your venue know that I will be managing the coordination on your wedding day. I frequently work alongside venue coordinators, who handle tasks such as overseeing kitchen service and beverages. If you’d like me to manage the wedding proceedings, I can seamlessly take on that responsibility while the venue coordinator focuses on their other duties.
How far in advance of my wedding should I book with you?
I recommend booking my services 12-18 months in advance. This timeframe allows us to take our time to carefully plan and secure your preferred vendors and essential hire items, ensuring everything aligns perfectly with your vision. Booking 9-12 months in advance is ideal to give you plenty of time to enjoy the planning process without feeling rushed. However, if you have a shorter timeline, don’t worry – just email me, and we can discuss how to make your dream wedding come together smoothly and enjoyably.
Can you help us find a venue, and are you an approved vendor?
Absolutely! I have extensive experience with a wide range of venues and can help you find the perfect location that matches your vision and budget. Many venues require working with approved vendors only, and I am approved at all Byron Bay venues. I’ll consider your preferences, guest list, and any specific requirements to recommend venues that will make your wedding unforgettable.
What is the difference between full coordination, partial planning, and month-out coordination?
Full coordination supports you from start to finish—covering every stage of the planning journey. From developing your wedding concept, sourcing and booking all vendors, managing logistics, budgets, and styling, right through to on-the-day execution, it's for couples who want expert guidance every step of the way.
Partial planning is ideal for couples who’ve already locked in a few key suppliers—like your venue, catering, florist, or photographer—but want ongoing professional support to refine the vision, fill in the gaps, and stay on track. It includes regular check-ins, a design brief, planning documents, and full coordination on the day.
Month-out coordination steps in closer to the date—usually around 30 days out—once you’ve planned most elements yourself. We take over communication with your vendors, finalise the run sheet, confirm all logistics, and oversee the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Each service provides a different level of support depending on how much help you want, and where you are in the planning process.
