Growing up on a farm in France, I spent much of my childhood outdoors exploring forest and bushes, collecting treasure made up of sticks, berries, moss… My grandparents had a large and lush garden, a mix of vegetables and flowers, which taught me the beauty of the changing seasons and picked my interest for texture and foliage. I studied floristry in Paris, then started travelling to nourish my style with different influences and cultures.

Florals & Co. is a boutique floral studio based on the Gold Coast, owned and operated by long time floral designer Sarah- Mae Amey. With over 17 years experience on the Gold Coast, Northern NSW working in beautiful Florist stores before going on to work as the in-house event florist & stylist for some of Sydney's leading venues. Sarah has planned and executed the floral styling for hundreds of weddings, events & editorials over the years. This experience combined with her friendly nature, professionalism, extensive knowledge and love of flowers has helped grow Florals & Co. to where it is today.

Mikarla has spent the last 10 years as a floral designer working for boutique florists in both Sydney and Berlin. She is regarded as one of Australia’s most exciting florists and is now working between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. Living in the hinterland of Byron Bay, Mikarla has an intimate knowledge of where to source the finest blooms that enable her to deliver floral installations that are both unique and timeless.

Love for our beautiful couples and brands who have entrusted us to create for them, love for each and every single flower we work with and love for the fire that the creative process sparks within us. We strive to create something pure and unique that is truly a reflection of you and your vision.
